Tribute & Message From The Family

Paul Edward "Ed" Stanberry, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend too all who knew him. Ed was full of life with a joke for every situation, never taking life too seriously.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Frank and Lucy Pearl Stanberry; brother, Charlie Ray Stanberry; and two sisters, Ilene Weaver and Naomi Guyer.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Linda Owens Stanberry; daughters, Angie Six and husband Warren, and Heather Gwinn and significant other David Caldwell; granddaughters, Brittany Samaniego and Abigail Gwinn; step grandson, Cory Six; brother, Bobby Stanberry and wife Mary Kay; sisters, Betty Harriger, Irma Wilson, and Polly Frye and husband C.W.; special nephew and best buddy, Joey Owens; several nieces, nephews, and special friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted 8 PM Monday, March 25 at the First Church of God in Chilhowie with Pastor Bobby Dunn officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in the Mt. View Cemetery in Chilhowie with full military rites. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday prior to the funeral service at the church.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Eddie.He is now with other family members
that most likely greeted him at the gate.I am sure, without doubt, Mom,aunt Carrie,Dad,Elzie,and Carter were there.What a time they are having now! I will bet that if there is a cherry tree any where in Heaven, Carter and Elzie are sitting on a limb helping themselves.
This separation is only for a short time.WE WILL SEE AND BE WITH THEM AGAIN
