I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful lady through my friendship with Eric and Nancy. I know how very much she was loved by her family who will miss her terribly. Leola and Charlie are at the center of many fond family memories and her presence will be so missed by all of them.

I am sorry for your loss and hope in time your hearts will heal.

Much love and condolences to you all. Hold each other close in the coming days and weeks. I promise you time will make it better...

I was so sorry to hear this news.

I have such fond memories of our trips from Texas to Virginia to visit family when I was a kid. One of my very favorite memories is of Leola. When we drove up, she was making something in a caldron in the back yard. I was probably about 10 years old or so. I seriously thought something strange was going on... then I found out she was making apple butter! I never see a jar of apple butter without thinking of Leola.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Love you all...
