Ambers Ray Haga, 77, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at his home in Chilhowie. Ambers was born July 9, 1940, to the late Anna Mae Denny Haga and Felix Lundy Haga. He was a lifetime perfectionist and master carpenter, who was certainly well known for his work. Family and friends also knew him for his admirable sense of humor. He married the love of his life, Martha Lorena "Renie" Haga, on July 31, 1960. Mr. Haga was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter and his angel, Lindey Paige; brothers, Ralph Haga (Fern), J.B. Haga, and Harrison Cecil Haga; sister, Betty Haga Blevins (Kenneth), and a brother-in-law, David Williams. Survivors include, to which he referred to as his 3 girls, his loving wife of 57 years, Martha Lorena "Renie" Haga; daughter, Karen Haga; granddaughter and other angel, Lindsey Bridwell and husband Matthew Bridwell; brother, Clyde Haga (Lorrene); sisters, Mary Alice Williams (Billy), Luvena Plummer (Richard), and Izetta Williams; sister-in-law, Dorothy Haga; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted 7PM Friday, February 2, 2018, at Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Eller officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
