Mrs. Bonnie Holloway Hutton Reames Duncan, daughter of the late James Edward Hutton and Helen Hillis Holloway Hutton, passed away suddenly at her home in the Greenfield Community, Meadowview Va. on Sept. 10, 2017. She was predeceased by her brother, William Edward Hutton and her sister, Rachel Hutton Meek. Mrs. Duncan was educated at Meadowview High School and Emory and Henry College. She taught for a number of years in the Washington County School System. She leaves her son, Edward Hutton Reames and his friend, Larry Tolbert; her sisters, Maggie Naylor and husband William, and Georgia Moore; brother, James Robert "Bill" Hutton and wife Cathy; many special nephews and nieces including her infant namesake, Bonnie Quirarte. Her life was well lived in service to others. A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Monday, Sept. 18 in the Old Glade Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests giving to your favorite charity or to C.C. Porter Washington County Animal Shelter, 27252 Porter Ln, Abingdon, VA. 24211.
