Dakota Berkley Lomans, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2021, at the age of 29 years-old in Bristol Tennessee.
Dakota accepted the Lord as his Savior at a very young age and was baptized at First Baptist Church, Marion Va. He knew the Lord. During his last days, he rekindled that relationship.
Dakota worked hard to obtain his CDL through CRST Trucking School. After completing the training, CRST hired him. After driving for CRST for some time, Dakota was blessed with an opportunity to work for Tram-am Trucking. Driving to different states and seeing all that the world holds was Dakota's passion. He loved venturing to different places and seeing new things.
Dakota was always a kind, compassionate, and generous person who opened his heart to help everyone and always made a way to provide for his family. He made sure that he spent quality time with his children, Audrey and Dakota Jr, and his family. Also, Dakota loved to go fishing, riding his motorcycle, and playing Xbox.
Dakota is survived by his children, Audrey and Dakota Lomans Jr, Brittany Davidson (fiancé'), Mary Walton (mother), Calvin Walton (father). Dakota was preceded in death by Alvin B. Lomans Sr. (grandfather), and Cheikh and Teresa Soumare (uncle/aunt). Dakota is survived by Audrey Odessa Lomans (grandmother), Charles Lee and Jennifer Tucker (uncle/aunt), Alvin Lomans Jr. and Stephanie Lomans. (uncle/aunt), Twinkle and Christine Mills (papaw/mamaw), and Wayne and Chrissy Louthian. Cousins, Jermaine Tucker (wife Megan), Jennifer Johnson (husband Jay), Alvin Lomans III (Tre'), William A. Lomans (Alex), Gorel Soumare, and Eyezek Tucker. Dakota leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Chilhowie Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
