David Warren Hall, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017. David was born in Smyth County and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was retired from General Dynamics and loved greatly by his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Warren Hall; mother, Lois Sturgill Hall; and his sister, Pamela Hall Blevins.
Survivors include his wife Libby; daughter, Jennifer; sons, Matthew and Stephanie, Charlie and Dawn, and Kevin, all of Chilhowie; sister, Karen Olinger and husband Arthur; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 7 PM Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Helms officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 AM Monday, Oct. 23 in the Cleghorn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Sunday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
