Larry Wayne Copeland, 55, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at the Abingdon Health and Rehab Center. Larry was a loving husband, father, and friend with a strong Christian faith. His faith led him to be a deacon of the South Fork Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Sandra B. Copeland; one son, Larry Vance Copeland and fiancé, Sara Ratliff; three brothers; three sisters; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; many friends and extended family at the Atkins Baptist Church and the South Fork Baptist Church; and his special friends of the exit 7 Home Depot; and two special cats, Gracie and Dora. Funeral services will be conducted 7 PM Monday, Oct. 3 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Hazelwood and Rev. Mark Totten officiating. The family will receive friends 5 until 7 PM Monday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Flowers will be appreciated or Donations can be made to Williams Funeral Home to help with the funeral costs. Williams Funeral Home of Chilhowie is serving the Copeland Family.
