Lois Evelyn Coe, 89, passed away Sunday Feb. 17, 2019. Lois was a lifetime member of the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery "Jack" Coe and her parents, Jessie and Ethel Blevins; and three brothers, Gordon, Joe, and Kenny Blevins.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joy Hughes and husband Dennis of Saltville, Va., and Linda Marshall and husband David of Aiken, S.C.; Son, Mike Coe and wife Tracie of Saltville, Va.; grandchildren, Michelle Shaffer Smith and husband Keith, Scott Marshall and wife Candy, Derek Marshall, Tabbie DeBusk and husband Dave, and Kyli Lee and Greg; great grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, Alex, Gabby, Brooke, Justin, and Eli; sister, Ellen Lundy and husband Jack; and two brothers, Vernon Blevins and wife Elizabeth and Howard Blevins. Funeral services will be conducted 8 PM Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 at the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Eller officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday, Feb. 20 in the Cleghorn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday prior to the funeral service at the church. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to special niece and care takers, Sherri Coe, Casey Fulton and Brandy Anderson. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Old Cleghorn Cemetery, ICO Vernon Blevins, 483 Cleghorn Valley Rd. Marion, Va. 24354.
