Sandra Blevins Sheffield, 76, passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017. Sandra was preceded in death in by her husband, Murl Sheffield; son, Johnny Lee Sheffield; her parents, Thomas W. Blevins and Agnes Martin Blevins; step-father, Robert L. Parker; step-mother, Beulah "Lucy" Blevins, and a brother, Thomas Harrison Blevins. Survivors include her children, Wayne Sheffield and wife Judy, Leonard Sheffield, and Tracey Sheffield Carter; grandchildren, Sarah Long, Daniel Sheffield, Amber Orr, John Carter, Leonard A. Sheffield, and Ashley Sheffield; five great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James Dale Parker, Ed Parker, Robert Parker, John Parker, Bonnie Gallenberger and husband Curtis, Wayne Blevins and wife Barbara, and Jean Hartman and husband Bob; sisters-in-law, Inez Whidden and husband Ray, and Carol Sheffield; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Halsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View cemetery in Chilhowie. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday, Sept. 23 at Williams Funeral Home. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.williamsfuneralhomeofchilhowie.com.
