Zelma Mae Heath Powers, 96, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her parents, Zackariah R. and Hattie Mae Heath; brothers, Delmar L. Heath, Russell Heath, and Z.R. Heath; sisters, Margie Edwards and Eliza Ann Bebber; her husband, Jacob Elwood Powers; son, Woodie Malone Powers; daughter, Trula Mae Powers. Survivors include her sons, Russell Leon Powers and Joseph Elwood Powers and wife Deborah; daughter, Eula Faye Copenhaver; grandsons, William Woodrow Warren and wife Stephanie, Travis Joe Warren, Russell Malone Powers and wife Sara, Dustin Zane Powers and wife Rhiannon Powers, and Robert Jason Powers; granddaughters, Elizabeth Gager and husband Michael and Lee Ann Copenhaver; great grandchildren, Jacob Matheson Gager, Quentin Alexander Warren, Addison Mae Powers, Cole Shuler, and Haley Shuler. Funeral services will be conducted 5 PM Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Eller officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 3 PM Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 in the Bishop Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 PM Saturday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
